Wine tasting
Sangiovese is the most representative wine of Romagna. This grape variety is one of the oldest in Italy and with such grapes very famous wines like Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti and many others are produced. In Romagna, and especially on the hills of Bertinoro it finds the ideal soil for growing. The favourable climate with mild summer followed by cold winters and high day-to-night temperature excursion allows this versatile grape to thrive. You will find several wineries around town and lots of information at the touristic office located in the main square.
